How it Works Make an Order Ask a Question Frequently Asked Questions Home Processes

Here are some answers to questions you may have.

What does 24hrvinyl do?

We make custom-built stickers, our specialty being quick turnaround on custom, 4-color stickers. We can print full color stickers, plotter-cut stickers out of colored material, or combinations of the two.

What does the "24hr" stand for in 24hrvinyl?

We will typically respond to your order with a preview and a quote within 24 hours. In certain situations, depending on the specifications of the order, we can even get the printing, processing and delivery done within 24 hours. For example, it is possible to receive an order late Sunday night/early Monday morning, have the proof approved by late Monday morning and have the job processed and shipped so that you can receive your package by early Tuesday morning.

Do I have to pay for anything up front?

No. Once you upload your artwork, we create a proof with dimensions and send you an email. You will receive a link to a page that has your proof(s) of the finished artwork. If you approve, then you can pay for the actual order (printing, shipping, etc.) through our Shopping Cart. You do not need to pay for anything unless we start printing your order.

How do I pay for an order?

Once you have approved the proof, you will be directed to the Shopping Cart where you can pay for the item(s). We take Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

How will I know the status of my job?

All of our communication is done through email. You will receive status updates via email every step of the process:

Can I submit multiple images and specifications within a single order?

Yes you can. Input your job information per image and select "Add to order" to add the information to the table. When we send you a proof notice, you will have a link that will take you to your "Preview" page, which will have information on all pieces of your order, as well as individual previews for each image to the specs given.

How many stickers/banners can I order and still get them quickly?

It depends on the process you want to use for printing, how large the sticker/banner will be, the quantity needed and how quickly you need them. Larger stickers/banners take longer to print, cut and package than smaller ones. The larger sized and higher quantity of stickers/banners that you will need, the longer the job can take.

What delivery services do you use?

We typically use UPS. If you have a preference for another provider (FedEx, USPS, DHL, etc.) we can use those as well. Usually we will use whatever service has the lowest cost to you that will get your order to you in time and in the great condition. We can also ship to you using your pre-existing shipping account if you prefer.

What if a material that I want to use is not in the material drop-down list?

The material in the drop-down is what we carry in stock. If you are looking for a specific material that is not on our material list, select the "Contact" button on the left and send us an email about the material you are looking for. If we can order the material, we will let you know and confirm that you still want to make an order. If you confirm that you will make an order for the material, we will order the material and add it to the material drop-down for you to select, sending you an email when the order page has been updated.

What if I want additional stickers/banners from a past order?

If you have worked with us in the past and would like more stickers from a job that we have done, place another order and reference the previous order that you used. We can go back and use the original artwork and fulfill your new order. You won't need to pay for artwork setup (it would already be done), just material and shipping costs. If you are making changes to the artwork (ex. - making the image larger), then there may be a charge, depending on the change.

What if I want to change an order after it has been submitted?

Once you have submitted an order, we cannot add or remove specific pieces of the order. If you need specific items removed, we can cancel the order and you can make another order with the new images and specifications. If you need items or quantities added, you can make a new order with the additional items needed. In the case where you need to add an additional number to the quantity of an existing order, just let us know in the comment section of the new order which order you want to add to and we will only charge for the additional material used and look to combine orders for shipping.

What happens if you cannot meet my deadline?

We do our very best to meet or beat your deadline with the highest quality. You do not pay for anything until processing begins (after we receive approval and payment), and we will be able to tell you if we can meet your deadline during the proof process. If we cannot fulfill your order within the deadline provided because of proofing changes or delivery method, you are not on the hook to pay for the image processing.

What happens if I receive my stickers/banners after my deadline or I don't like how they turned out?

If you cannot use the stickers we sent because they arrived after the time you specified in your order or they did not turn out the way that you needed them to look, send the stickers back to us and we will refund the full original price you paid as soon as we receive your package.

How come you don't show any pricing up-front?

Pricing is dependant on how much work we need to do to the artwork to get it to print to your specs, how much material is needed to print the job, how long the job will take to print and process, and the delivery method. We can only give a reliable quote once we have seen the artwork and specifications.

How come you don't have any pre-made stickers/banners in stock or on your site?

A lot of the artwork we have done has been tied to products that have non-disclosure agreements, so we cannot show those designs or applications. Most of our stickers/banners are also made to order and sent to the customer, so we don't actually stock the completed designs because we send them all to the customer. Stocking pre-built items may change in the future according to demand.

What do the "Proportional to Height/Proportional to Length" checkboxes do?

Let's say you have an ordinary 5" long x 3.5" high picture that you would like blown up and made into some stickers that are 7" long. If the height dimension that was entered was not 4.9", the image would be distorted. The severity of the distortion would depend on how close or far away the dimension was from 4.9". If you enter 7" into the length and select the "Proportional to Length" checkbox, then we would automatically size the image to 7" x 4.9" and the image would not be distorted.
