Not sure which process to choose? Here is a brief description of what we do
The pink is where we would cut the material:
Full Color |
4-color printed sticker cut into a simple shape (square, cirle, oval, rectangle, triangle). Can be printed and cut with or without the color going all the way over the edge (bleed). Usually printed on white or clear material, but we also offer a few chrome finishes that we can print on. A good example is a simple bumper sticker. |
|
Plotter Cut Only |
Die Cut is basically cutting shapes out of color material. Lettering is the most common example, but a lot of shapes and logos are now being cut in vinyl and placed on cars. We cut the shape, weed the excess material off, then apply transfer tape to the top. You just peel the backing off, place the sticker, and carefully pull the transfer tape off for the finished look. We offer a variety of colors to choose from.
Full Color & Plotter Cut |
The first two options put together. An example would be a gradient color logo of an unusual shape that is cut around the shape. Custom logos usually use this type of process. Uses the same material as Full Color printing. Might be covered with transfer tape depending on what the sticker is being used for and the complexity of the design.
Black and White |
Black printing on White material. Simple, straight forward. Cut into simple shapes. Basically the same as Full Color except the we just use Black ink. Banners use this process as well and only print black on white material.
Black and White & Plotter Cut |
Black printing on White material, custom cut to the design of the logo. Might be covered with transfer tape depending on what the sticker is being used for and the complexity of the design. |
